Mrs. Zimmie Lee Dixon, Augusta, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at St. Vincent's Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Piney Mount Baptist Church with Pastor Joyce Ingram Chandler officiating. Interment will be held in church cemetery.


Mrs. Dixon is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Deborah (Paul) Baldwin, Jacksonville, Florida, Mrs. Virnitia (Raymond) Hendricks, Tampa, Florida; sister: Mrs. Effie Minor, Sandersville, Georgia; brother: Mr. Nolden Hood, Hollywood, Florida; son-in-law: Mr. David Henley, Augusta, Georgia; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren: a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
